We know the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has turned into one of the craziest shopping times of the year. I will say it’s for a good reason because the deals you can grab for fall and winter are amazing.

Our goal of starting this little space is always to help other ladies. That includes mental help with laughs and shopping help. We want to make this SALE easy to shop and not stressful. Here our some of our best tips and tricks for the sale!

When:

• Early Access to card holders July 12, 2019 @ 12:30 ET. This is for card holders only. You can sign up for a card or skip and wait for the sale to open to the public.
• Open Access opens on July 19, 2019.

Where: Shopping online is where it is at. You can find links for everything right here on our blog, Instagram, and Facebook. Don’t forget to download and follow us in the LiketoKnowit app.

Tip 1: Do a quick inventory of what you and your family need for fall and winter. Coats, boots, jeans. Also, think about Christmas items for family that you want to grab now on sale to save later.

Tip 2: Set a budget… stick to the budget.

Tip 3: Order fast. So many items sell out fast. I add to my cart and do a quick checkout. Remember you can always make returns too. So I am not against ordering in two sizes.

Tip 4 : We will be breaking down posts into categories so it is very easy to shop.

Tip 5: Set your alarm to shop the sale. Two years ago I thought getting up early with the kids was fine – nope so many things I wanted sold out. Side note totally not the end of the world.

Tip 6: If you do have a Nordy card don’t forget to request your double points on the day you are shopping.

When Hoffmann Brothers reached out and asked if we wanted to meet to discuss working together we both were excited. I will be the first to tell you that I’m slightly behind on all the regular maintenance at our home – it’s that busy mom life. Then we get one warm day and the glimmer of spring starts my check list of things we need to do!

I spent the afternoon at Carley’s house with the Hoffmann Brothers team learning about everything they do. Something that really stood out to us was their team and how friendly they were! The customer service is unlike any other, plus we received an email when the tech was on his way.

When Bubby arrived he was so friendly and even brought her son coloring books and crayons. Such a bonus when the kids feel safe with someone new in the home!

I got to “work” with Tom, as he taught me more about AC units then I ever knew! I did learn some interesting facts (most over my head) but one is to keep your plants trimmed back and away from your units! Tom also worked on the annual tune up to get it ready for summer.

Next we ventured into Carley’s basement to check on her furnace filter and learn why it is so important to keep those changed. Anyone else have a hard time keeping up with changing theirs and remembering what kind to buy at the store (this is me). Luckily with the Home Protection Plan they will send you the new ones for free!

It was great having Hoffmann Brothers to help get most of our Spring Home Check List marked off. I only have a few more left and will be ready!
