I’ll be giving you a little photo overload today while taking you on a tour of our home and a few glimpses inside our holiday party. So turn on Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas album and pour your self a festive cocktail!
This is the first year I decided to go DIY and make my own holiday planters and wreath. They are both so simple and it will save your hundreds creating these on your own.
I have a serious obsession with fresh garland! There is nothing better than this scent during the holidays! You can buy from local nurseries and it’s really reasonable! I made these bows from this beautiful burlap and gold ribbon last year and reuse them every year.
Obviously every party needs a little mistletoe- perfect for every photo op!
More fresh garland, poinsettia, and birch logs…It all just makes my heart so happy!
I’ll let you in on a little secret- those NOEL letters are cardboard but look like wood. All you do is lightly whitewash! Don’t mind the unfinished buffet its on my list of things to do before I die.
I love displaying pictures from previous years parties and this is my favorite way to show them off. After, I put all of our Christmas cards on here! This was another DIY that is simple and quick!
Our living room is usually covered in toys and has two little boys jumping on the couches so this is a special treat for you that this room is clean.
My stockings are from two years ago and Target no longer sells them – if you are a mom and your family MIGHT expand buy extra stockings when you find one you love (I might have one more stocking in the basement just in case).
Bringing a little more FREE decor in by gathering up pinecones (be sure to freeze them or pop them in the oven for 20 min to get rid of all the critters)
This year the kitchen didn’t get much decor besides a few chalkboard signs and a little centerpiece on the table. Don’t worry we were not short of yummy food and drinks!
You can get all the details on this punch and how to make the best spread here!
Our master bathroom has this little rosemary tree from Trader Joes…it smells so good with a little steam in the room!
Here is our happy little tree. It’s in the basement since that is the best place to have our choo- choo around the bottom.
Thanks for joining me on a tour of my home. We hope you have the best holiday season ever!
