If you have landed here get ready to make the easiest fresh +skinny margarita! In my past life I was a bartender so I think might know what I’m doing. I love mixing up all kinds of margaritas but the one thing they always have in common is that they are fresh and do not have sugar filled mixes in them. I’m starting with the classic fresh + skinny margarita that will be sure to have your besties asking for another at your next party!
fresh + skinny margarita
2 oz. silver tequila
1 fresh squeezed lime
1/8th fresh squeezed orange
1 tsp. agave (my fav is only 5 calories)
1/2 oz. orange liquor (optional- my fav Contreau)
Don’t forget to rim your glass with salt and shake the marg then shake some more- no-one likes a warm drink
This can easily be pre-made for a party. I usually do this recipe times 10 and put in a pitcher. Then you can easily shake a fresh one as needed.

If you love a spicy option you should try this Chile Lime salt from Trader Joe’s (yes you can order it online via amazon)! You can easily add 2 slices of fresh jalapeno to the above recipe. If you are in a hurry simply add this “skinny” Trader Joes Jalapeno Limeade to your two oz. of tequila.
