Maternity session time. Ladies I was totally on the fence about if I should get maternity pictures. Trust me momma you should and will be so happy you did. You might not feel like Heidi Klum at the moment -but it really is a time to try and embrace the bump!
We ended up with a slightly gloomy spring day luckily the flowers couldn’t have been more beautiful!
Today I am going to share with you how I stay sane during the LONG cold winter months. We’ve all been there- stressed, tired, overbooked, and anxiously awaiting warmer weather and sunshine! If you’re anything like me, I crave warm weather and outdoor adventures. Unfortunately during the winter months it’s not that easy. Especially if you’re a mom with kiddos who seem to be climbing the walls each and every day! Being a mom is so rewarding and exhausting all at the same time. Between potty training, colds, dirty laundry and constant meltdowns it’s hard to find time for yourself. Trust me, I’ve battled with this for many years (more on that later). The guilt of taking care of myself when I should be taking care of my children but the truth is, if mama ain’t happy, no one is!

Most parties have a few staples that everyone loves to make and seven layer taco dip is always on that list BUT I have a mini hate for everyone dipping their chips in one dip. I came up with an easy solution- seven layer taco wonton bites! You get all the goodies of a seven layer dip in one little bite. These only take 20 min to make and I promise these will be a hit at every party!
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and today I am sharing some of my favorite items leading up to the Hallmark holiday. We typically keep it pretty casual by either cooking at home or grabbing some Mexican margaritas! Side note – I already made my kiddos their Valentine’s for preschool using our adorable printables (easties DIY ever)! Last year I was the only mom that didn’t have something for the boys to pass out. Which resulted in lots of tears and guilt…Huge mom fail!

Being a mom to two busy toddlers, there’s not a lot of “me” time in the day. I often don’t have the time to put on makeup (besides mascara of course), so a good skin care regimen is key! Madewell: If you want some real style for your flannels go straight to Madewell. These are not your basic plaid tops. I want EVERYTHING they have and their ex- boyfriend button down is my favorite for the weekends. There’s a ton on SALE right now.
Rails: This is definitely a SPLURGE piece for your wardrobe but totally worth it. The material is the softest ever and will literally last you a life time. Promise!
