Fall has hit and now that it isn’t 100 degrees you can enjoy a date night on the patio. Legit one of my favorite things to do. These are going to be a mix of patio for date night and a few that you can bring your entire crew. I am honestly so thankful for restaurants that actually like kids.
Date night restaurants with a patio
Frisco is a new gem that recently opened in Webster Groves. It has two areas for outdoor seating too. The main level patio has an amazing fire place. The second level is a slightly smaller space, but a rare rooftop in West Co!
Barcelonas has been a favorite of mine for years. The food is amazing and the sangria is the best in St.Louis. You have to get the Queso de Cabra – its so good its hard to share!
Bishops Post has been on my go to list for far too long. So many friends have recommended it too because the patio is huge and has a pretty waterfall!
I know we are talking patios, but the interior of this restaurant has to be mentioned. Its stunning! The patio offers a pretty view of this classic hotel and a cozy fireplace too! If you are going for a special occasion you should probably just stay the night at the Chase!
Vin de Set
This is such a top STL pick that has been around forever. Stunning rooftop views of STL and the perfect special place for a date.
Olive and Oak
We LOVE date nights at Olive and Oak for so many reasons. The patio is small but the food is the best in St.Louis. The menu changes but I have never ordered something I didn’t love. You want to make reservations to get a seat on the patio. If you are last second like us – grab a drink at the bar while you wait!
I am lucky to live super close to the Three Kings in Des Peres! They have the best Spicy Chicken T-ravs ever! The SoCo location has a bigger patio and it perfect for a casual date !
Sashas on Shaw
If you are major wine lovers you need to go to Sashas! This is the perfect romantic little date spot! Sip on some wine in their garden patio and grab a charcuterie board ( my fav) !
Angard Rainbow Terrance
This is a new spot that we havent had a chance to go to yet. I have heard so many reviews about this rooftop view of the city. You can get cocktails and small plates at ART. I cant wait to check it out and report back!
Cinder House is on the terrace at the Four Seasons downtown. The view is one of the best in St.Louis and then food is amazing! They can make some killer cocktails too!
Joey B’s / Billy G’s
So this one has to be a toss up because it makes the perfect casual date night or you can bring the kids! Billy G’s in Kirkwood has a live bang on the weekends too! Warning that the portion sizes are huge and the food is so good. Their pizza is one of my favs! Also, if you are looking for HEALTHY food options they have a macro menu that was created by Emily Frisella so you can totally stay on track!
A few date night spots without a patio!
We honestly might go here too much. The food is to die for and they make some really really good craft cocktails! We love sitting at the chefs kitchen too. You must get the sushi roll.
Speaking of sushi this is my fav fancy sushi spot! Their rolls are so yummy and the hot rock is fun for dates!
If you are looking for one of the best steaks in STL this is it. I will say that the atmosphere could use an update ( sorry ) but its still a top pick for us to go when celebrating! ( even just celebrating being out of the house without kids)
I went here for the first time during Clayton’s restaurant week and now its always on our list! Super adorable inside, yummy pizza and pasta and super affordable!
So you are looking for casual but cute and really really good pizza and salads – Katies Pizza is your spot! They have two locations too. I freaking love their artichoke salad and the watermelon salad. And every single pizza I have tried. ( totally kid friendly too)
Kid friendly restaurants with a patio
Kid friendly and pizza, what more could I ask for? They have a huge space for the kids to play on plus several games for them !
The Boat House
The Boat house had a change over ownership in the last year and the menu is so much better! My kids love coming here because we always let them feed the fish and take a ride on the paddle boats!
I’m sure you have heard me talk about Amigos before on IG. Its our favorite spot to go in Kirkwood with the kids. On Sunday nights they have a magician that comes to the table to keep the kids entertained too!
Rockwell Beer Co.
We were driving around in the city one Saturday and stumbled upon Rockwell! Its the perfect lo-key date or place to bring the kids. You can grab a beer (adults) then yummy burgers for the kids! Bonus is that they have ice cream too!
So we haven’t had the chance to go to Taco Circus yet but I have heard soooo many great things. So its on our list!
So I might be cheating on this one. You can’t go here for dinner, but its too good not to mention! They are totally kid friendly and even let them write on the walls – give them crowns and fill their bellies with a yummy breakfast!
Corner Pub is another one of our go to spots in STL! They have a great kids menu, plenty of TV’s to watch the games and the service is fast. Which is key with kids right!
